GetLawyers 4 Farmers (L4F) is a not for profit organization established in Kampala, Uganda. We ease the access of farmers to basic legal information and services. We deliver instant legal information through an SMS based platform and offer mirco-legal insurance to farmer groups which lowers their cost of travel to access legal information and increases their knowledge of their rights.

Our Goal

We want to enable farmers in Uganda to navigate the complexities of the law. By making fundamental legal information easily accessible, we want to not only increase the legal awareness of farmers but also empower them to prevent or solve their most pressing justice needs. Our goal is to reach 15,000 farmers by 2022.

Lawyers4Farmers participated in the Pitch AgriHack 2018

Lawyers4Farmers participated in the Pitch AgriHack 2018 launched by the Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation(CTA). It was open to young female and male entrepreneurs, owners/co-founders of ICT start-ups in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific(ACP).
It took place during the African Green Revolution Forum(AGRF) 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda

Gudie Entreprenuers Incubation Centre (GAIC) model

Gudie Leisure Farm (GLF) is registered trade name of an incorporated company R&G Investments Limited since 14th January 2009.
The farm has since engaged in poultry, piggery, aquaculture, horticulture (vegetables, fruits & seedlings), cereals buyer (maize, soya bean and sunflower) and agri-tourism. It is a social enterprise targeting transforming smallholder farmers (SHF) into eco-entrepreneurs through planned, structured, predictable and profitable value chains of smallholder producers, youth agri-entreprenuers, franchisees, incubates and vendors as illustrated in the Gudie Agrientreprenuership Incubation Centre (GAIC) model.

We had a great outreach day at the Annual General Meeting of Dwaniro Livestock Cooperative Society in Kiboga District teaching ranchers how to reach us through our SMS platform.
